Today, one of our kampers Tutu Hales went home and his parents Doris and Bobby left moma the sweetest message. Made moma teary. We love Tutu as well and can't wait to kamp with him again! XOXO, Bur-dee, Dutch and 2D Sparo We have our Tutu and heading home to our Harley. Love going on vacation but love coming home too. This trip was a bit different in that our Tutu has medical issues since our last vacation and I was worried about where to take him this time. But through raving reviews we found Paula Ham. She took pictures and video for us and kept us posted throughout our vacation which gave us peace of mind. AND she didn’t charge us extra for all the extra she had to do to pet sit him...two insulin shots a day, seizure meds, measured meals... plus his seizure meds makes him randomly cry in the middle of the night in one of the most heart breaking little sounds...so you have to wake him, move him and then he’s back to sleep. Basically he is a hands full right now until we can wean him from his seizure meds....and she never charged extra like other places would have done....and my favorite part....all “campers” are treated like a family pet...because he sleeps in our bed...he was allowed to sleep in hers to minimize his anxiety ❤️. Truly an awesome lady and place for your puppies. Here I am going on and on when the website shows it all much better:
Stop and smell the flowers, but don't forget to book your vacation. Spots are filling fast. XOXO,
Bur-dee, Dutch and 2D Sparo Hurricane season is coming up fast, and it looks like it may be a bumpy ride here in Houston again this year. This got my little Burd brain thinking...what happens to pets who are boarded?
After researching other facilities all over the states, I am shocked to find that in many places while humans evacuate, pets are left behind by those trusted to care for them. You have to sign a waiver stating that you are okay with leaving them even with no one to care for them. This angers The Burd! There is not that worry here...Kamp Ham has you covered. Should an emergency evacuation be necessary, your kampers will not be left to fend for themselves. We will load your babies into our Kamp Bus (and friends' if needed) and haul everyone to safety. Your initial paperwork will include a permission slip for a Kamp field trip should an emergency arise. I hope we don't have to deal with another Harvey, but in case we do your babies are covered at Kamp Ham. Have a great day, kampers. XOXO, Bur-dee, Dutch and 2D Sparo |
