XOXO,
Bur-dee
Bur-dee here, rocking my Mardi Gras beads as a wee pup of 5 months. I think I may have to go Instagram.

![]() Bur-dee here. Thought I disappeared? Never! Still on walkabout through the southern states with Hiram, my handler. I have heard that some folks have been missing me something fierce. Well, fierce is the word of the day, pumpkins...I finally got a blue in confirmation, but finished reserve in the finals. You just don't know how frustrating it is to still be a bridesmaid. Ah well, there is always agility. I am so very ready to come home...I miss momma, and Chirp, and Truman, and Ellie...and being the social director of Kamp Ham again. I hear that Chirp has taken over. Not cool, Chirp, not cool at all. XOXO,
Bur-dee ![]() Elvira here. Since the Burd is on walkabout across the south with her handler Hiram, I have dropped in with a few words for y'all today. Just heard that The Burd is winning her classes. Still no points though...really fries my blonde lock to hear that. Oh geezers wheezers, it is time for my massage and pet-i-cure. Perfection takes work. Speaking of perfection, I miss my gal pal Bur-dee. Come home already. Elvira out. ![]() Chirp here. I just saw Elvira leaving...she is such a diva. She only thinks of her beauty. We have been patiently listening for the latest from our gal pal Bur-dee. Heard she is doing well, but no points. Anyway, I have octopus to fry and beds to unstuff and socials to direct in Bur-dee's absence. Chirp out. Bur-dee here. I have been on hiatus as kamp social director to become a jet-setting Pug. Bet you didn't know this Burd had wings. So what am I up to? I am on walkabout doing the show circuit. No worries, momma has to stay home and hold down the fort and I am keeping my traveling partner on his toes. This week I want to talk about new friends and pick-up policies.
First I want to introduce our newest Kamp Kounselors, Kathy and Venus. Venus is an animal lover who lives on-site and will tend to us on the rare occasion that momma is not able to. I love her bunches and she loves and cares for all of us too. Now is a touchy one: pick-up times after hours. Kamp Ham has set pick up times and there are a few reasons why: 1. Your pets are creatures of habit, and need a consistent routine to be comfortable and happy. Our times are set to not disturb your pet during his or her dinner or sleeping time, as well as allow you plenty of time to settle into your routine post-trip. Disruption of kamper schedules causes anxiety, and we appreciate your cooperation in avoiding this. 2. There are other kampers and their comfort is our priority! They deserve the time to be cared for and relax without interruptions in their routine. As stated above, pets are comforted by set routines that they can count on, including rest time, and it is our pleasure to give them the downtime they deserve. 3. Finally, this is our private home, and we have neighbors who do not wish to be disturbed. We all love our private time and fully appreciate kamper parents sticking to the designated hours of pick-up. I understand how you miss your kamper and how eager you are to be reunited with them. I can't wait to see momma again and I know she misses me. But make sure that you get home and situated first and stick to the designated hours. Your kamper will be happier for it. See you soon, hopefully with more blue ribbons. XOXO, Bur-dee |
