Bur-dee here. Usually my news is happy and upbeat but today I am unhappy. You see, momma got stiffed by a client who requested services, bounced a check, then failed to pay the bill in full. The client promised to pay but six hours later we have seen no sign of money. As a result, we have to make changes to our policies:
1. Payment: We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Payment for services are due in full when you drop off at the start of your stay. If you do not pay in full we will not be able to accept your kamper. If you want additional services such as transport or baths, these must be paid before services are rendered; for your convenience we accept credit cards via Paypal. 2. Checks: Yes we take them. If your check is returned for NSF, you will be charged $35 for fees. You will lose your check writing privileges as well and all further bookings must be done by credit card or cash. 3. Appointments: drop offs and pickups are by appointment only. You are booked in a specific time just for you. Other cleints will not be scheduled at the same time because your time is valuable. HOWEVER: If you are late, you will have to reschedule your time; if you fail to show up, you will still be charged for services. Failure to pay for services could result in adverse actions including legal action. Theft of service is pretty serious here, and can result in a felony charge per Texas law. You can read about it here. Many of our guidelines are in the contract you signed; don’t sign anything without reading it through. It has been a crazy spring, and I forgot to mention that I earned another title: I am a lure coursing pug. Keep those squirrels away, because I will target and destroy muahahahaha. Seriously though, I am now titled in agility and coursing...take a look at all those suffixes. Oh did I mention that I am only the second Pug to be a titled courser? Now everyone knows that there is not a thing that pugs won't eat. Look around you...do you have medicines, plants, or yummy chocolate in your home? These things are not good for us and could send us to the rainbow bridge sooner than you would like. OK let's say you are not super duper careful, and your fur kid gets into something they should not have. Do you know what to do? The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center (APCC) is your best resource for any animal poison-related emergency, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you think your pet may have ingested a potentially poisonous substance, call (888) 426-4435. A $65 consultation fee may be applied to your credit card.
